On driving & communicating:
New Orleanians’ kindness is only surpassed by their stupidity.
This is the town with the worst drivers, as slow as their responses and comprehension.
Granted I’m generalizing, but I have to, and after a month of experiencing this my mouth is in a permanent gaping position. I mean, who stops at a blinking yellow and blows a stop sign? Apparantly, at my last count, about 32 New Orleanians; And “directionals” are just mere decoration on the bumper of ones car; and who honks when you overtake them in a two lane area with more than a car space between you and them when you finally pass them? I’ve seen more side dents and bang-ups here than anywhere else, and the speed limit is only 15-30mph (depending on where you’re driving) and they usually GO SLOWER!
